The N. Nikolajsen family is happy to announce having entered into an agreement with Alfred Mu\u0308ller AG to purchase, renovate and restore the St. Karlshof \/ <\/span>Salesianum<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/u> – <\/span>one of the most prominent historical properties on the lake of Zug. <\/div>\n
Alfred Mu\u0308ller AG purchased the St. Karlshof \/ Salesianum<\/u> from the Institute of Menzingen in 2011, and ever since the long-term future of the property has remained open. <\/div>\n
Over the next two-and-a-half years, Alfred Mu\u0308ller AG and the N. Nikolajsen family will be working together to properly renovate, restore and refurbish the property and bring it back to its former glory.<\/div>\n
\n

It is the intention to utilize the St. Karlshof \/ Salesianum<\/u> for residential purposes, with the notable exception of the St. Karl Borroma\u0308us chapel (built 1615), which is to be restored and opened to the public as a museum dedicated to the history of the Salesianum<\/a><\/u><\/span><\/u> \/ St. Karlshof, the Schweizerpsalm (composed on the premises), and to house events of public interest in the local community.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Besides the N. Nikolajsen family, the St. Karlshof \/ Salesianum<\/u> is projected to serve as permanent residential space for co-workers and partners of Bitcoin Suisse AG, as well as friends of the family. <\/div>\n
\n

It is projected the restored property with the associated buildings will result in 1700 m2 of residential space, excluding basement, parking cellar, utility rooms, boat house & the chapel.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Throughout the renovation and restoration, the utmost care will be taken to protect and respect the authenticity and integrity of this historic Zuger landmark, as well as to work closely with the town and the Kanton of Zug to this effect.<\/div>\n
It is the hope of Alfred Mu\u0308ller AG and the N. Nikolajsen family that the result of the agreement which is announced today, and the renovation project which will now follow, is to both restore and preserve the exceptional and historic property which is the St. Karlshof \/ Salesianum<\/u>, for the present as well as for future generations.<\/div>
